DockBeacon refund policy
This policy explains DockBeacon's refund, cancellation, and trial approach for Stripe-hosted billing.

Trial
- New workspaces start a 7-day no-card trial when the workspace is created.
- 7-day trial. No charge during the trial.
- Payment terms shown in Stripe Checkout control when a paid subscription begins and whether payment details are required for the paid plan.
- If the trial ends without a valid payment method or payment confirmation where Stripe requires one, workspace access may become payment-required until the owner resolves billing in Stripe.
Billing
- Stripe-hosted Checkout and the Stripe customer portal handle subscription billing.
- Stripe handles payment details when an owner chooses a paid plan. DockBeacon does not store card details.
- Paid subscriptions may be canceled to stop future renewals.
- Taxes may apply and are calculated at checkout where required based on Stripe and tax configuration.
- Invoices, receipts, payment-method collection, tax details, and cancellation settings depend on the Stripe configuration shown at checkout or in the Stripe customer portal.
Digital delivery and returns
- DockBeacon is delivered as a web-based SaaS service.
- Paid access is governed by the active subscription, trial, or administrative account status.
- Because DockBeacon does not ship physical goods, product returns do not apply.
Cancellation
- Paid subscriptions may be canceled to stop future renewals.
- After cancellation of an active paid subscription, access generally remains available until the end of the then-current paid-through billing period unless the account is suspended or terminated for misuse, security, legal, or payment reasons.
- Cancellation does not delete workspace data by itself. Workspace export or deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
Refunds
- DockBeacon does not provide prorated refunds by default.
- Billing mistakes, duplicate charges, failed cancellation handling, or unusual payment issues will be reviewed by support.
- Approved refunds may depend on payment processor rules, bank timelines, taxes, fees, and the details of the issue.
